I know it's still early days but I already feel better. I think this is due to all our meals being homemade with lots of vegetables . All the meals I've cooked this week daddy peacock , baby peacock and i have really enjoyed, it makes me think why we have take away. We order way too much, eat too much and spend too much.
Last night we worked out that we can easily spend £20 a night on take aways, this weeks shop full of fresh fruit, vegetables, lean meats and household essential cost us just under £60 at asda. That consisted of a full weeks of breakfast, lunch and tea for all 3 of us including snacks. That makes a huge difference, so hopefully while I'm losing the pounds weight wise I hope to gain them money wise. Win win all around especially when I become a yummy mummy in need of a new wardrobe of yummy mummy clothes.
.............as for exercise this is where im failing, i have not done any actually exercise apart from running around all day at work or after a toddler. this was not the plan, i could list all the excuses but that will not help me lose the pounds and excuses is what got me this big. so my plan to attack the fat today is take baby peacock to the park on his harness have a nice walk around and no doubt a good chase of my active toddler and tonight once tea is over and babies in bed i shall go on the wii and maybe even challenge daddy peacock to a game of tennis to make it fun and to discourage me to join my 6ft 3inch hubby who never gains weight to slob on the sofa.
i shall report on my progress as time goes on until thanwish me luck.
Here's an example of some of the yummy healthy meals I've cooked this week.
