Imagination to reality

Life has not turned out how I imagined it would have turned out when i dreamed of my life at 13 years old. I have quite the imagination so every detail was obviously thought about. I wouldn't change my life I have more than most but at 13 I probably wouldn't have agreed with my now 27 year old self.

When I was 13 I decided I was going to be a famous actress and singer when i grew up. I was going to be in all the blockbusters with all the cute actors. Who at the time were Leonardo dicaprio, Ryan Phillippe, heath ledger and if I'm honest any young male with a pulse.

I attended a weekend drama club with my cousin barbara and @themothergeek. There was where a big Hollywood agent was going to find me. Not sure how since after the mornings warm up activities I would watch from the side lines as everyone else practiced there parts in bugsy Malone. My part was so small I had one line and wouldn't need to practice every week. This was where I imagined i was going to he discovered even so.

After a few people left the weekend drama group they decide to scap bugsy Malone and do a variety show. This was what was going to shoot me into stardom as a famous singer like celine dion, Whitney Houston and mariah Carey well so i dreamed I was given 2 songs to sing genie in a bottle - Christina Aguilera and how do I live - leann rimes. Unfortunately that wasn't the night but I loved every minuet of it. It may of shot me to stardom but I did feel like a star for the night, I had one of the biggest solos of the night I remember feeling amazing.

There is some similarities to life now and how I imagined it but they are definitely worlds apart. During my career as this amazing singer I was going to sing with the backstreet boy ( was a huge fan back than and still am went to see them in April this year) while performing nick carter would fall madly In love with me and we would have a big wedding in all the bests magazines like big and smash hits. We would live in a huge mansion with electronic wardrobes like on the film clueless, a music studio indoor and outdoor swimming pool not forgetting a huge cinema room.

In my 13 year old imagination now at 27 I would be retired cause I would have made so much money. Most of my friends would be celebrities but not britney spears but her boyfriend at the time Justin timberlake is another story.
As for children I really can't remember if I had planned for them.

My life couldn't be further away from how I imagined it to be but there are some links. I may not be a singer but I am a drama queen, I may not be a millionaire but I am rich in love. I may not have heaps and heaps of celebrity friends but I do have honest and treasured friendships. The most important thing I have is happiness with my beautiful little family I would not change that for the world I get to wake up every morning to my amazing husband and beautiful baby boy.

.........Saying that if you asked me would I spend a day in that imaginary world... For a day I would just to see what its like.
